I am a spatial & furniture designer originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. I believe in design that enhances human interaction. I draw my inspiration from observing everyday life and find the greatest joy in taking ordinary things and looking at it with a different perspective. I am someone who is observant and intuitive. Growing up in Jakarta, Indonesia, I was always exposed to multiple different cultures. My worldview is always challenged by the different beliefs, people, and things around me. I felt like my environment allowed me to constantly learn and grow as a human being. I am observant and thoughtful in my designs, taking account the end user as well as everyone who interacts with the space or object. I enjoy story-telling through my design, allowing people to enter new worlds as they experience a shift in perspective.
The Department of Architecture is in very high demand and, because of this, it is able to admit very well-qualified students. Our undergraduate program receives over 1500 applications for 120 places, and our graduate program is also highly selective. Cal Poly Pomona architecture graduates are highly sought after by design firms and many gain admittance into highly-selective graduate programs. The popularity of Cal Poly Pomona's architecture program is based, in part, due to its reputation for excellent design instruction, for teaching the technical aspects of architecture, and for its expertise in sustainability, historic preservation, and healthcare design. The architecture department at Cal Poly Pomona is building on these strengths by improving its design, technology and fabrication facilities and by hiring highly-qualified faculty.

Interior Designers Institute is a private interior design college, which was founded in 1984 in Corona del Mar, California. The steady growth of the college can be attributed in part to its reputation for excellence, the need for a high caliber private college and its location in the heart of Orange County, California. Orange County is unique in terms of affluence, progressiveness and overall acceptance of the importance of interior design. Design opportunities abound in the area, which has a multitude of interior design firms, as well as its own design center, Laguna Design Center. It is also in close proximity to the Pacific Design Center, one of the largest in the country. These factors have had a profound influence in framing the Institute's progressive approach to education and its job placement. As a small, progressive college, the Institute has been able to adapt to design changes and trends. It has recognized the importance of active participation and involvement in the major interior design professional organizations, and maintains student chapters of ASID and IIDA.
