“We had Theo wallpaper a number of accent walls in our condo, and his work is amazing! Initially, he came over to our home to get a sense of the job ahead of him and to help assess whether we had enough wallpaper for the project. Then in completing the work, he returned on a couple of different days and worked diligently and efficiently to get all of our desired walls covered. In terms of his work product, Theo is incredibly meticulous and thorough. He matches up the wallpaper design seams seamlessly and even uses a laser(!) in order to make sure things line up perfectly, You can tell he really thinks through a project before and as he's completing it, and as a result his finished product for our condo is stunning. His expertise at wallpaper hanging was readily apparent in the way he described the work he was doing and the quick pace at which he finished our project. And his rate for the work was quite reasonable, too. Finally, Theo was a decidedly pleasant professional to deal with. He reached out to me promptly about doing the project, he was easy to get a hold of, and he's just an all-around kind character with whom you'll enjoy chatting. Overall, we are very satisfied with Theo's wallpaper handiwork for our condo.”

“Having moved to a new area and a new house we wanted to have surroundings that were comfortable but stylish s well. I found everything we needed in Winegarden Studio. We were presented with color boards, nouveau techniques, etc. It was easy to see what the end result would "look like". Cynthia was very professional as well as a very good listener. “The landscape design of our newly built Atherton home relies on a large number of architecturally-designed solid concrete walls of varying lengths and heights. The walls were designed to have a particular look and finish. Unfortunately, two of the taller walls suffered cold joints and other defects and looked very unsightly. We tried a number of fixes but they didn’t fix the problem. It is at this point that Coral Colours came to the rescue! After fixing the unsightly cold joints and the other defects, they applied several coats of plaster and matched the color and appearance of the other walls. The repaired walls look like new. I highly recommend Coral Colours. They are artisans and on top of that very nice people to work with.”

“Todd Milnes and his team did a great job on my backyard office. They taped, textured, painted, caulked and laid down the carpeting and it was perfectly done. Todd went the extra mile and was actually so much fun to have around. Being the perfectionist I am, I really appreciated this quality of work because the truth is - it's not that easy to find. The person initially painting it had a family emergency and Todd was working in the area and came right over - working on the weekend and way after 5pm to get the job done. Yes- I would hire him again.”

“So far have had a great experience working with this vendor. They were a referral from a neighbor and the work they performed for them seemed very much high quality. Additionally, the quote I received was thorough, well written and the price seemed very fair. Finally, they are licensed and bonded. While I have not started my project yet, I do intend to use them in the coming weeks.”

“Had part of a wall opened up to replace a pocket door - of course the lime wash I used on the wall many years ago was no longer available and I had already returned one lime wash product. I emailed Color Atelier Paint and Natalie not only got back to me but had me email her pictures of the existing wall that I had to replicate. She was very helpful and patient and answered all my questions. I ordered the color lime wash I needed and an additional color for another project. Color Atelier is on the west coast and I live on Cape Cod. Color Atelier has great customer service and my order arrived pretty quickly. And the wall came out beautiful! You can buy paint anywhere but it’s tough to get great customer service.”

“I was referred to House Doctor Painting from my Broker/Realtor friend. Kelly McKinley is the principal of HDP. I was given a booked time/date for inspection and cost estimate. Mr. McKinley came to my home on time and as scheduled. Kelly is a kind and courteous professional (licensed) contractor, and has been in business from over 20 years. This is checking all the boxes for me already. After having several painting companies come out and thinking of just going with the lowest bid quickly turned into you get what you pay for... Painting of ones home is NOT something one does very often. It is also much more than just color... Correct painting is a shield from the environments as well as sealing the home from the environment. Correct paint + caulking (type of paint for the structure) and sealing will last a home for 10+ years. Bottom line inside my head was "don't cheap out...," do it once the right way. Kelly and his crew were on time, and quickly prepped my home (power washed as well as scrapped and sealed). The painting was applied, and I could not have been happier with both the colors as well as quality of the paint and final product. My home went from drab to being a show piece. We all hear on the home improvement shows about curb appeal... Kelly and HDP really came through and turned my house into a home!”

“We met Adan through our contractor and hired him to faux finish a number of places in our house. First he did a marvelous gray stain on the walls of our Speakeasy AirBnB. The stain turned what was cheeky pine panels into a very sophisticated room. He then stained the bench shelves a dark color to match the front of the bar, and framing of the bar turning the room in a multi-hued affair. All of the stain was done professionally, it looks amazing and is jaw dropping for anyone that comes to stay. We had Adan work on the trim in our living room matching old mahogany stains on new pine framed windows. The end result is a perfect coat that ties the new windows to the old vintage ones. We can't wait to have him back and do the beams in our ceiling and other wood based porjects. Adan is a professional and artist at the top of his game. He's truly marvelous and I'd recommend him to anyone that needs faux finishing or specialty painting work done in their house.”

“Our project was exterior prep and paint of our 3 story, wood siding home. It was not in terrible condition (paint was not peeling), but there were several areas that were showing the start of dry rot. Professional, personal, superb quality work, meticulous detail, pleasant workers, skilled and knowledgable crew that can handle repairs and carpentry needs as they come up during the project . . . Can't express how pleased and impressed we are with them and their work. I categorized our project in the default category of being in the $10,000-$49,999 range however, specifically our end cost including the dry rot repairs totaled just a hair under $11,000.”

“Prep and paint of exterior of 2-story house I had put this off for years because I couldn't decide on a contractor. I finally realized mine was the only house in the development that hadn't been repainted, and we had been here 20 years! I wanted somebody relatively local with a good reputation, and found Certa Pro. There was a lot of prep work (which I expected) but it wasn't as expensive as anticipated, and it got done quickly, as did the paint job. All workers were efficient, polite, respectful of the landscaping and thorough about daily cleanup. The estimate was right on. The house looks great.”
