She has helped me with numerous installations including putting up a large mural on a wall 20 feet in the air on an electric lift in a school gym as well as a three part mural on a cathedral barrel vault ceiling 22 feet in the air; all without blinking an eye. And she's the only certified paper hanger in Carroll County MD.”

“We hired Passport Painting after 6 previous estimates. As recent 1st time home buyers and the need for painting being our first project that we would contract out we wanted to do as much research as we could allow before having new carpet put in the bedrooms. We clicked with Jon almost right away. His quote was in the middle of the other 6 and we could not have been happier with the choice we made. Between the reviews that we saw on Thumbtack and the conversations we had we felt comfortable having Passport to handle our project. We had 3 rooms all with vaulted/cathedral ceilings, not an easy task! He explained every step of the process and not only did he repair the damaged walls he went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with the work. We were happy to have Jon work in our home and he will be the only painter we contract with for the duration of this house and any other. They say you get what you pay for, and you wont be disappointed to have Passport Painting to do your project!”

“I have worked with Jim Lackford to complete multiple home renovation and repair jobs and I highly recommend him. First, he’s easy to work with and is a good communicator. He’s trustworthy and more reliable than your best neighbor: When I had water in my basement over a weekend, he came over the very same day to remove the flooring. I don’t know any contractor who would turn on a dime like that to help in an emergency! Jim is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in everything “home.” He did painting and wallpapering for me, he patched holes in my ceiling, he laid tile in my laundry area, hung a mirror, installed a mosaic tile backsplash, and so on. He always did the work with skill and care. He also has access to skilled workers who can support him when the job requires it.”

“Mario Brothers was prompt on the estimate. it was the most complete estimate of the 10 quotes I received. They replaced wood rot, sealed and painted. Painted the porch on the house, fence, and deck. This is how they went above and beyond: the board that the house numbers are on was painted to match. the mount for the outdoor lights were painted. the back deck door was repaired and repainted. I am sure there are more touches I haven't noticed yet. Wow, my house looks good! Last, I heard from 2 neighbors about how it went when I was not there.
