About Us

What I give clients is something they don’t have. They don’t have enough time, confidence or intuition to design their own homes to truly reflect their personalities and lifestyle. I give them that – all that and in some cases, much more. Di Henshall Interior Design offers a highly personalized service to produce residential and commercial spaces styled specifically to represent a client’s personality, likes and feelings. My team and I are trained and experienced in understanding and responding to the emotional and physical needs and aspirations of the people we design for. We provide ideas and solutions to improve the environments where people live, work, relax and socialise. This then enriches and enhances the areas by making them not only visually appealing but also practical. We’re a sort of one-stop-shop for design and decoration – designing buildings from the ground up, right down to teaspoons and everything in between.

My association with Di, is that I am one of her fabric and wallpaper suppliers and I first met Di at her studio called Sound Interiors, some 30 years ago. She then moved to Mary Street, and changed the business name to Di Henshall Interior Design. I have the privilage still today, calling on Di and her team, at their purpose built design studio and furniture and cabinetmaking factory - which houses Di Henshall Interior Design and Resident Hero. Her dedication and impeccable creativity is evident in her projects, achieving the most beautiful spaces for her clients, not only in Australia but also overseas.
