Inspiring Landscape Solutions by Parveen Dhaliwal
Edible Gardens Services in Phillip Island, Victoria
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars16 June 2019
“We found Parveen after contacting many local designers and finding they were either way out of our budget, or just never responded to our enquiry. Parveen has wonderful prompt communication skills and worked with us to come up with a solution that fit within our budget. She carefully considered our design brief and took into account several aspects that we hadn't even thought of. She had great attention to detail and has lots of creative ideas, and nothing was too much trouble for her. We are very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!”

“Rob at The Greener Garden Company turned my dream garden into reality at my home. Rob’s expertise and knowledge of plants and flowers was superb and catered perfectly to the landscape provided. A year on and our garden is growing more beautifully each season. I cannot wait to see it continue to establish over the years to come. This is credit to Rob’s attention to detail in the foundations of the project as well as excellent communication post-project. Thank you!”

“My husband had been searching in the local papers for landscapers, and we’d had a few around to quote but had not been impressed. I had come across Houzz and decided to see if we could use it to find gardens that inspired us and see who created them. That’s how we found Ben Carter and we’re so glad we did. We were looking to re-landscape the front garden of our home in McKinnon. It came with a rose garden that had been run down by years of neglectful tenants. We wanted to start over completely. He was so excited that we wanted a native garden and understood that we were after something low maintenance. He got straight to work on a plan which was done within a day or two. The garden itself was completed within just a few weeks, and within our original budget (the low end of the indicated range). Ultimately we added to the plan: we needed a new driveway now, not later, and Ben helped us select the perfect exposed aggregate for it. We also decided that this was the time to set up a rainwater tank, and Ben advised us on size and a colour that ties in with the house and garden. We also realised we needed something to act as a screen outside our bedroom window and he sourced us a beautiful one, from Entanglements whose work I loved, on sale no less. He coordinated professionally with our plumber and identified an excellent tradie to lay the exposed aggregate driveway. And the result? The plants, trees, woodchips, pebbles and rocks he selected (in consultation) tie in with the bricks of our house and garden wall as well as the tree on the verge. We have a sitting area from which to admire the natural features, and to listen to the water in the frog pond he set up at our daughter’s request. In the end, we insisted that he display a sign so people would know who created our garden. We look forward to working with him again in the future. That’s the highest recommendation we can provide.”

“GHLD have completed a number of landscape designs for some of our projects, and we couldn't have asked for more. From a design perspective, GHLD were quick to pick up the clients brief, and used this well to create some beautiful Landscape designs. From a Customer Service perspective, 10 out of 10 is my rating. Projects are completed within expected time frames, and communication is second to none. Looking forward to continuing to partner with GHLD for years to come. Highly Recommended!”

“Immediately I met Alison, I knew she was a winner. She re designed my roof top garden and it is source of delight to me every day. She asked the right questions to formulate her initial plan to meet my vision, was responsive to my preferences and took a lot of care which plants were selected and where they were positioned. She has been back to see how the garden has developed and advised me on care and maintenance. Because she is passionate about producing a great outcome, she continues to learn and challenge herself and no doubt will get better and better. Deservedly, she won two gold awards for my garden.”

“Meg knows plants!!!! There are so many designers out there that know a small selected palette but Meg is one designer that crosses over into a horticultural realm. I've been amazed at the ideas she can bring to the table when engaged to provide planting palette advice. If you're looking for a friendly designer that goes the extra mile when creating and that knows in-depth horticultural knowledge look no further than Meg.”

“Paul was easy to deal with and accommodated our requirements with our landscaping. His ideas are on trend and he delivered an amazing garden on time. We love that he thought outside the square and that we now have a garden which is low maintenance, unique, enjoyable and functional. Would recommend Paul and his fantastic team to anyone.”

“We used Atmosphy for our front garden - it was a mess. The girls listened to us and designed a beautiful native garden. They arrived when they said they would and worked so hard to have it finished when promised. I can't speak highly enough of Amy and Bec, a great team.”
