Every construction project has its twists and turns, no one can control the weather. Danielle and Oak Well communicated every week what the plan was and what to expect. “We were looking to build a pool, spa, and fire pit in our backyard, but were facing some challenges - a relatively small space with a significant slope to it. We talked to several pool builders who gave us their ideas but none of them had the capability of doing 3D renderings, so it was very difficult to visualize the project especially with the elevation "issues". Then we had the good fortune of finding Cascade Outdoor Design. They came up with an overall design that we loved and provided 3D renderings which took all the guess work out of visualizing of the project. Once we tweaked the design, we chose to contract with Cascade to oversee the project. Mike and Leah were a delight to work with and saw to it that the job was finished on time and within our budget. We now have the backyard of our dreams and feel like we literally couldn't have done it without them.”

“We were in the process of building our first home. We had been renting for 3 1/2 yrs, my husband was in the Navy and we weren't sure our last home would sell since we had to move to a new place for his new orders. Luckily our home sold quickly, but we continued to rent to save up for our new home. Since we moved to FLorida I new I wanted a pool and if I was lucky, a spa too! We interviewed 5 different companies here in Jacksonville. We chose Island Pools for 2 big reasons, They were super personable, willing to work with us on our budget. They came in right as they had quoted us, all the people that worked for them were professional and curteous and they finished the pool on time.”

“Very reasonable. Prompt, courteous, and professional. When we purchased a foreclosed house, we needed to have the very large (25 x 50) in-gound pool redone - it had sat for over two years. Superior Design Pools gave us an estimate that only included what he thought needed to be fixed, and let us know what the extras would cost if they were broken (e.g. light, pump, etc). Other quotes we received automatically included these things because they "assumed" they were broken. As it turns out, we were lucky and all the equipment worked! By not automatically replacing it all, it saved up a lot of $$. It was a big job - from removing the safety "cage" the city had placed over it, draining and cleaning a pool that had sat stagnant for years and filled with rotting leaves, etc, pressure washing off all of the deteriorating surface, and applying the new surface. It looks great! They did a terrific job - moved our equipment to a better location, hooked up the Polaris I had purchased separately, and just did many little "extras" at no extra charge. All the workers were extremely polite, helpful, and professional. Would definitely use them again!”
