“Adam came over to my house to check our roof. We went over there at the time of the meeting because my dad's a senior and I wanted to make sure she understood everything. Well, I was very impressed with Adam! After checking the roof he sat with my dad and was very patient and explained everything. “After exhaustive research, we found this wonderful craftsman, Ray Kroeck, to install the roof of our dream house. We interviewed 5 or 6 "slaters" in northern California, and found none (except Ray) who were not only knowledgeable about the craft, but also honest enough to give us a roof that would last a lifetime. Throughout repeated problems with not only the General Contractor, but also with the importer of the Chinese slate, Ray Kroeck represented us, the homeowner, in an attempt to get us our 300 year roof. His work is old school, he represents a pride of ownership in his work, and gives this lost art a shot at the future. Not sure what will happen when artists like Ray Kroeck are no longer available. We are looking to Ray for consultation and hopefully installation at an alpine compound we are developing near Tahoe. Think freeze thaw, snow loads, ice dams, etc. We would trust no one but Ray for such a task...”

“I was extremely nervous about making a decision as large as buying a new roof when I knew absolutely nothing about such a purchase. Ron came out immediately to give me a quote. He showed me all his organizational affiliations, gave me his contractors licenses and a little background as to not only his experience but also that of his company. And while I'm sure I was driving Ron more than a little crazy with all my questions and concerns, he walked me through all the types of roofing and every aspect of installation. He was incredibly patient, described exactly what products were for and explained the benifits of one product over the other. Once they started the project, they worked straight through to completion and my beautiful new roof was on much more quickly than I would have anticipated. Ron's crew were friendly and helpful. Jon was particularly good at letting me know what was going on and answering my many questions. They were very careful with my plants and cleaned up daily. Not only would I recommend them to others needing a new roof, I have already done so.”

“This company is exactly what you want when hiring a home remodeler. They do things by the book, they are professional, detail oriented, they catch issues we hadn't, are creative problem solvers, nothing is too much, too little or too inconvenient for them. They are efficient, come prepared with everything they need for the job, if they run into the inevitable problems during a remodel, they think outside the box, and come up with great solutions. They are fast, clean, on target with their estimates, and a complete delight to work with. What we love about them is that they treat all their customers - big and small- with great respect. This is the kind of team you can leave your house keys and house pets with and be assured all will be well. So far they have worked on a bathroom with (what we were told by others) was a difficult plumbing situation, that would have required ripping out walls and newly installed tiles. Not so for this team. "Under the covers" the plumbing job they did is a precise, text-book work of art by itself. The bathroom install is pristine. We continue to work with this company on our other house projects!”

Being that the house is 30 years old, there were some things to repalce and the roof was one of them. “these guys are such professionals! I am so impressed with the work they accomplished last week - in just 2 days they finished the roof on my 2-story house (2200 sq ft) - just before the rains began (and just before we went into total lock-down due to COVID-19). it looked like a ballet on the top of my house - the crew moved deftly, swiftly and consistently. I am grateful for their diligence, competence and hard work. brian, the owner, has certainly hired a tremendous crew! as an aside, I also hired another co to install solar panels, once the roof was completed. knowing this, brian then proactively sent his guys back out to my home afterwards to do some light repair work caused by the solar installation. so kind of them. regarding cost - I got estimates from 7 different companies (I'm a touch OCD...). they were not the cheapest, but were the 2nd least expensive firm. and besides a modest down payment ($700), they charged me nothing until the full project was completed. their other glowing reviews are absolutely true. I am so very pleased i chose them.”
