“I had film installed 5 years ago. It works as expected, giving some protection against glare reflected off a nearby building, and against unwanted summer heat, and also provided some privacy . The installation was painless. The product never looked like a cheap add-on, and after 5 years still looks like new. It is hard to tell that it is there - but it is. Bought on a friend's recommendation, it had worked well on his house.”

“The front windows of my dental office in Sidney are east-facing and collect a lot of morning sunshine causing significant overheating in our patient lounge. Paula assessed the situation and quickly provided coverage with roller blinds that allow me to easily control that problem. “We are extremely pleased with the electronic blinds installed on 8 large condo windows and sliding doors. Both Jason, who did the estimate, and Rob, who installed the blinds were extremely professional, pleasant, patient and competent. They were respectful of our strict covid protection needs and they were very careful with our furniture and art. At first, we wanted hand-controlled blinds, but Jason showed us the advantages of using the electronic control and patiently explained the changes to codes regarding hand-pull blinds. Jason demonstrated the various light screening levels of different blind thickness, so we were able to pick what was best for our rooms. The electric blinds are very easy to operate and tidy looking. While they were not cheap, we think that they are well worth the expense. Due to supply chain issues you need to be prepared to wait for installation. We recommend Ruffell and Brown very highly and suggest that you visit their showroom and website first to get an idea of the possibilities for your project. Rob and Joan”

“I recently purchased a condo and needed to replace all of the end caps on the blinds it came with (they were 20 years old and breaking). They were incredibly helpful in sourcing the parts I needed and, not only that, delivered them right to my door in Sidney (saving me a trip to Colwood) because they were coming out to do house calls in the area anyway. Above and beyond service for what amounted to a $23 sale for them.”
