“I have used the Finishing Room for many years, in my home and for client projects. The Finishing Room is the only workroom I use. The reason, Lisa Salvatore's work is impeccable. For me, the Finishing Room provides custom window treatments, shades, pillows and an extensive hardware collection to choose from. “Had new venetian blinds installed in kitchen- 2 windows- and enclosed blinds installed on kitchen door. Work was done quickly and well; installer was on time. I do find this company to be expensive but the quality of the work and materials is high. Am using them again now for blinds in living room.”

“Shirley Mitchell came to my house as an interior design expert and helped me update the window treatments in the living room of a 30 year old raised ranch. Not an easy assignment. She spent time discussing the project with me, determining what my budget would be for the project, and came prepared for addressing that with several different ideas. She was able to offer plenty of visuals, via catalogs of materials and samples of materials, for window treatments options and decorative hardware. She then mailed me samples of materials I might choose and let me consider my options, while keeping lines of communication open at all times. Once I did decide on a material then she returned and spent additional time and discussion with me regarding the construction of the window treatment. I never felt pressured into purchasing something I might feel unsure about; she also seemed to be very comfortable about offering me options within my budget that she felt would give the room the "facelift" I'd hoped to achieve. In a timely fashion, the project was completed, and the entire window treatment was installed within a hour's time one afternoon. Services were prompt and reliable; the installation was organized and well done by the team of installers. I am thrilled with the results. I am hoping to contact Mitchell Designs for my next project, my dining room. I would highly recommend them very highly, and without reservation.”

Her company measured for curtains for me, told me how much fabric to purchase and then came to measure and helped me decide on a style of window treatments for several rooms. She is very curteous, fun to work with, and has a pleasant disposition! After completion of our project, I felt that I could trust her with watching my newborn baby!”
