This job is 18 months old and we heard nothing until 2-1-19.
I emailed back on 2-1-19 and advised that contact would be made on Monday to discuss any problems.
The comment of wrong measurement is incorrect as this is an older home and it is common for bulging in the window architraves.There was no wrong measurements in width or height.
Actually, my fitter did a tremendous job in rectifying the problem ( which was a building defect problem ) and the final installation is perfect.
We had another job recently with the same problem and again we rectified it the same way and that customer thanked us heartily for being so professional.
The sliding door was a difficult installation but we also did that very well.
From memory the customer did contact us about a small problem ( the problem is common in installations ) and most customers after receiving advice are able to correct it in a few minutes themselves.
No doubt , due to work pressure we did not follow up this small request but most customers would provide an opportunity to make good.
My memory of the customer was that they were very sincere honest people and we are somewhat shocked at this recent comment with no prior discussion after 18 months and the conclusions arrived at being totally incorrect.
We refrain from further comment but we trust we have demonstrated that the review is out of context.

We are an experienced importer having been in the industry for over 40 years. We have imported over 400 containers in the last 15 years and we know from experience that some shipments can be delayed.
Also, our products are very easy to install and it is assumed that any customer who buys on the basis of supply only has the ability to install themselves.
However, this customer requested details of installation which were readily made available in a very easy step by step process. Installation is also available via our website.
As a professional supplier of shutters we made available to this customer every detail that we have made available to hundreds of other customers that have bought from us over the last 4 years.
Also, our background is in wholesaling. We have been in the industry since 1987 and have many high profiles we can offer ,as required.
We are sorry this particular customer had problems but we addressed them as they arose and maintained our professional business image.

They arrived in good time for reasons set out below.
Firstly, Personal accusations have no place in business. There is a difference between disillusionment and normal business practices.
We did not, would not nor ever did tell lies. We advised in good faith the date of arrival of the shutters after being advised by our suppliers.
Secondly, we resolved a difficult design problem for the customer as the shutters were to be installed beside a pool. As the customer does child caring on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast we needed to ensure the shutters complied with regulations.
We therefore presented a solution which was accepted. We would not allow production in China to proceed until we signed off on the shop drawings. This took 2 weeks.
The shutters were manufactured and shipped in the normal time frame but there was a typhoon which hit Asia and delayed shipping. Once in Australia there was a further delay at the wharf.
The changing dates were advised as and when they were known.. Any previous advice does not constitute a lie.
We sent an invoice for the second payment only when we knew the shipment was arriving in the warehouse. This was to ensure there was no delay if arranging internal freight to the installer.
The further wharf delay was after this was advised. This again does not constitute a lie.
As a reputable and reliable business we sought to do the best in providing a solution for Liz and went out of our way to provide the ultimate product within her budget.
