Somfy Australia

Purchased a Hellioscreen awning with a Somfy RTS controller / motor. We wanted to automate this to alleviate the remote control need into my Home Assistant bridge. Which since purchasing the product I have found is impossible as for some reason, the integration is available for the rest of the world, but not Australia. If you're located in Australia and want simply the ability to open up an app that integrates with nothing else in the home then this is the product for you. if you're seeking true automation I would investigate alternate options.

We wanted motorised blinds. Shelled out the money for the Somfy motors, remotes and Connexoon. Connexoon being the hub. The aim was to connect this to my smart home. ALL and I mean ALL regions around the world get access to the Somfy Open Api - except for Australia. So now I have a Somfy Hub that is crippled. No where on their website does is this stated. Very disappointed and definitely would not recommend Somfy to anyone in Australia. Basically a dud product sold under false pretense.
