“I’m glad i went through with American Array. They are very professional and answer any questions you might have. I was pretty unfamiliar with how solar worked at first but the gentleman who explained everything was very kind and made the process going forward super simple. Everyone involved was great and i would recommend them to anyone looking to get solar.”
Solar Harmonics, Inc.
Solar Power Contractors in Tracy, CA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars23 March 2020
“Solar Harmonics did an excellent job putting panels on the roof of Clars Auction Gallery in Oakland. They gave us the best quote. After PG&E suggested we first switch to led lightning, which reduced our power needs by 40%, they didn't complain when we reduced the scope by 40% The installation was quick. The salesman, Griff Adams, did good follow up through out the project. They can monitor remotely in case some panels aren't working. I'd highly recommend them.”

“From start to finish it was a great experience. I dealt with Tristan and he explained everything to me. The crew came out and were professional in everything they did. When they were done they made sure it was all cleaned up and ask me if there were any questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.”

Illuminate Solar Company
Solar Power Contractors in Tracy, CA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars16 January 2020
“We used Illuminate Solar to install a decent sized (11.5kW) system. Mark and his team were great, and I would recommend them without hesitation. They were honest, timely, and clean. We bid out to 6 different installers and they were tied for the lowest cost. Unlike Tesla who has set panels they use in set increments (4, 8, or 12 kw systems and only 320w panels), Illuminate worked with us to get exact right size system and panels to maximize our roof area and needs. They also worked to get the installation done quickly to qualify for tax deduction. Highly recommend.”
Earth-Electric
Solar Power Contractors in Tracy, CA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars30 August 2016
“Let me start out by what you won't be getting from Earth Electric. No hard-sell. Their sales person, Elvis, really knew his stuff and arrived well prepared. More important, once he realized my level of knowledge he was perfectly happy to skip over the things I already knew and focus on answering my questions. Unlike some I spoke to, he himself was a former solar installer, so he spoke from experience, not from a script. No glossy brochures. I know, it's traditional for solar companies to have glossy brochures full of pretty charts and smiling families in front of their solar home. Elvis had manufacturers spec sheets and a laptop on which he showed me web pages. If you really crave expensive glossy brochures, you'll need to look elsewhere. High prices. I'd heard from others that Earth-Electric was competitive, and so they were in my case, substantially less expensive than my other top candidate. I guess they saved money by not printing glossy brochures. Subcontractors. Most solar companies hire subcontractors. Matthew (the owner) did the site survey himself and was there during the first part of the install and the inspection (more on that later). The entire team works for Earth-Electric, and they were great. What do you get with Earth Electric? Let me give it to you in a nutshell: The installation, scheduled for 3 days, took only 2. From signed contract to permission to operate from PG&E took less than a month! Seriously - I signed the contract on 10/24 and permission to operate arrived on 11/23. A lot of the credit goes to Sheryl, who doesn't waste any time getting the paperwork done (especially with regards to permits and PG&E - I didn't have to do a thing beyond authorizing Earth-Electric to handle the paperwork). I originally choose Earth Electric because I like supporting local businesses and Matthew (the owner) teaches Solar Installation at a local community college. I figure anyone who can teach installation probably know something about doing it. How right I was did not become obvious until the city inspection. We got the head electrical inspector for the city who was also doing a training that day. So it was a serious inspection. Soon after beginning it turned into an odd game of jeopardy. Matthew would whisper an answer in my ear a few seconds before the inspector would ask the question. It became quickly obvious that he and the inspector both knew their subject - especially towards the end when they started geeking out about changes to the electrical code and how that would be impacting future installations. Towards the end the inspector pulled me aside and had a few choice words about some of the other contractors he had to deal with - it's pretty clear he was having a good time and had a great deal of respect for Matthew. Needless to say, the install passed easily. When you buy solar, you're buying both equipment and the services of an installer, with the latter I think being the scarier and more important choice. Be sure you talk to Earth-Electric before you make your final decision. You won't regret it.”
Simmitri
Solar Power Contractors in Tracy, CA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars23 January 2020
“Simmitri has differentiated themselves by offering a comprehensive approach towards energy. We had been researching companies for a few months before scheduling a meeting with one of Simmitri's energy consultants. After meeting with him, we knew we didn't need to speak with anyone else. His approach was comprehensive advising us on ways we can decrease our energy footprint by looking at not only solar but sealing the house to loose less of the heating and cooling, evaluation of the duct work to maximize the loose of heating, sealing gaps. He was able to model in real time if we wanted to add a electric vehicle or upgrade our old HVAC system to a electrical heat pump. No other company we met with was even close to this level of care and sophistication. If you want real solutions, Simmitri is the company.”
Venco Green Energy Construction

“I hired Venco for a couple of major projects the latest was a new roof on a two story Dutch colonial with a 10/12 pitch it came out excellent completed on time, passed inspection the first time and he even threw in some extras, if it had not been for venco I would not have made it through the 2016 winter. The other project was a 1600sqft addition it came out perfect we made a lot of $$$ when we sold if you want your projects done right on time under budget get a hold of this guy he stays busy but worth the wait”
