Rivoland Tiles

Horrible. Stay away. They wrote down and delivered the wrong tile. One box of tiles was broken, but we took more than 48hrs to report that so they tried to deny us a refund (we had to raise the Australian Consumer Law to get them to refund it). When we ordered more tiles we told the wrong information again. We were told we should order extra tiles and just return those we didn’t need, but when we tried to revise our order (before even picking them up) there was another fight to get the refund. After we presented the email evidence that we had met her requirements the manager agreed that she needed to perform the refund and then went out of her way to be personally attacking towards my wife. Completely unprofessional and downright appalling behaviour.

Generally good service. Assistant was helpful choosing tile sizes, texture and colours for 3 bathrooms and laundry. We discussed tile sizes and decided to go with 600mm tiles on floor and wall, so we could line up the grout lines for a very neat finish to all rooms. The assistant failed to inform us that 600mm actually means 595mm - 605mm and that if the the tiles aren't the same size, the grout lines can't be aligned between wall and floor. When the tiler had completed the floor and was commencing the walls, he pointed out that there was a few millimetres difference between the two sets of tiles. The grout lines had to be offset in all of our rooms. I was disappointed. Rivoland consider themselves a premium tile vendor. They stock quality product and they don't discount. The assistant seemed to know a lot about tiles and renovations. When we discussed the tile size and aligning the grout lines, she should have informed us of the risk. In fact, the tiles we chose were in stock in the warehouse, attached to the showroom. She could have checked on the spot, and we could have reselected.

Excellent service and a great range. With their main warehouse in Queanbeyan stock is usually on hand or not far away (except the special indent orders). I simply don't go anywhere else.

Great, knowledgeable staff who are easy to deal with. We love working with Rivoland Tiles and have done for many years now.
