Why Do Best of Houzz Awards Matter?
Like most industry awards, winning Best of Houzz is a great way to boost credibility and promote your business. Winners get a badge on their Houzz profile, showing potential clients that their work has been recognised by our community of 70 million homeowners and design enthusiasts.

Best of Houzz Award Tips
Know Your Angles
To strengthen your chances of being selected for this award, upload high-quality project photos of your best work as soon as possible after the project’s completion to give them plenty of time to circulate among the Houzz community. Then, help homeowners discover photos of your projects by including keywords in image descriptions so they will be searchable by style and location. These two practices will set you up to get the most ideabook saves on Houzz.
Spread the Word
Use the “Get Reviews” link on your profile page to encourage clients to share their experience working with you. The earlier in the year you start reaching out for reviews, the more time your clients will have to provide them.
Come Out on Top
These awards are based on the same criteria as the Design awards. So you’ll want to upload high-quality photos and add keywords and topics to newly uploaded photos. This will make them more searchable and increase the potential for their popularity among Houzz users.
Eligibility & Benefits
Each year, just over 2% of the 3+ million professionals on Houzz receive this award.
Eligibility
All home professionals with a Houzz profile are eligible to win Best of Houzz awards. Consideration is automatic, free, and based on your profile, overall rating, and customer reviews.
Badges
All winners will have a badge automatically added to the ‘Credentials’ section of their Houzz profile, helping homeowners identify popular and top-rated professionals in their area.
Promotional Kit
To help promote their award, winners also receive a promotional toolkit which includes high-resolution badge images for their social media feed, website, email signature, and more.
Highlights
Winners with a Houzz Pro subscription can also list their award in the ‘Highlights’ section of their profile and premium directory listing.
