Cover a work surfaceSince pebbles are a hardy low-maintenance material, they can take the knocks of everyday life. Using a white pebble on an island bench lends texture and interest to a space which could otherwise be rather plain. Don’t forget that pebbles also make fantastic splashbacks and benchtops, too, although it’s worth considering that they are challenging to keep clean.
