    “I was given the confidence and trust by Sky hence hired him to design my new house just by the marina. My journey with Sky started more than 3 years ago. Every step of the way, Sky had given me the clarity and best effort on all building and design aspect. I have to admit that I am not an easy client for I bomb Sky with numerous calls during weekends, public holidays and after hours. Yes Sky was ever willing to listen and help me with my queries. All throughout the design process (which took a couple of months), Lynnsay provided a great combination of guidance and openness to our ideas, incorporating what worked and providing - always respectful but firm - guidance on what didn't work, which was very much appreciated. Whenever we were in danger of going down too deep into a rabbit hole, Lynnsay would bring us back and keep things moving. The careful planning certainly paid off during the building process and beyond in everyday life, with no surprises or modifications on the way. We especially appreciate the practicality of the house and the amount and quality of natural light, which is brilliant. All in all the design and build were much better experiences than I dared dream possible.”

    “PROJECT MARCH 2014 We have been absolutely delighted by the total experience associated with the design, implementation and in the end, the completion of our remarkable "Hill House”. A day doesn’t go by without a sense of contentment as I smile at some design feature that just makes “sense” or an aspect of how we enjoy living in this space and place – it just “works”! We were absolutely delighted with the experience of designing our house with Mihaly Slocombe. The project is true to the importance we place on environmental sustainability, aesthetics and the clever use of amenity. In the end, the integrity of the creative design is a source of enduring pleasure to us. UPDATED JULY 2016 As our family expanded to the next generation [of grandchildren], we decided to return to the Architects who designed our family home, to create a suitable extension. Demis is helping us draw up our dream home, by way of an extension to our existing house and has been incredibly patient, diligent, responsive, organised, proactive and helpful. Demis is very passionate about his work, you can tell he loves what he does and this comes through in his work. Demis is always professional, friendly and easy to talk to. He often sends through suggestions or ideas with no prompting and is always happy to revisit or test how other options might work. He has assisted us a great deal in pulling together our plans for Council and meeting with them.     “I recently engaged Amelia from Undercover Architect to assist in designing a renovation of our home in Sydney. I completed a questionnaire before our meeting, she spent two hours at our home doing a walk through and discussing our brief and then prepared a very detailed report and "Vimeo" presentation including two different sets of floor plan options, all drawn to scale, including lay overs so you could see how the proposed changes related to the existing floor plan and how the second story would relate to the ground floor. It was outstanding, so impressive and so useful! The Vimeo video entailed Amelia talking through the floor plans, explaining why she designs things in certain ways, options at different design junctions - it all made so much sense and helped me understand the design process. Amelia is very driven to help clients achieve a fantastic design, she can assist with a Reno Rescue report or continue you to guide you through the design process. She was also very helpful in wanting to assist me find the right designer to continue working with us (Amelia is based in Brisbane). I received much more from Amelia than I was expecting in terms of the detail in her report and ongoing email support. She was really prompt in responding to emails and so enthusiastic about design and achieving a great outcome for our renovation. The Reno Rescue proved to be excellent value and I would recommend Amelia and her Reno Rescue service unreservedly!”

    “We have used Quadrant Design for two projects - a renovation in Prahran (2004/5), and a new house in Barwon Heads(2007/8). Working with Tony and his team was a truly collaborative effort, with complete give and take between architect and client. The attention to detail on both projects was outstanding - nothing was too small to be ignored. Little things made all the difference, such as the 'scalloping' of the window frames at the Barwon Heads house, which greatly enhance the visual appeal of the place. All deadlines were met, both in the design and the build phases & the way Tony interacted with the builders (different ones on the 2 projects) meant we had none of the builder/architect tensions that can so often arise. Both projects came in on time and, importantly, on budget. We were so satisfied that we are about to embark on another house design/building exercise with Tony and the team at Quadrant.”
