My son, who lives 8 minutes away, is my check in service. 😊 He texts me several times a day, even when he's at work.

Eta: DS got me an Apple Watch, which is set up to alert him if I have a medical emergency. My iPhone is set up the same way. Also, he will usually call or stop by on his way home from work.

Stainless. Your white applicances don't match your warm-white cabinets, not at all. Stainless will look much better with the cabinetry.

Why are you considering stone?

Does it tie in with anything else in the house?

That's a 20' wall -- not 15'. I'd be concerned about the entire kitchen plan rather than what's on one wall.

It can look wonderful, especially tied to the same stone on the fireplace, but I'd be honest about the sink wall: a heavy, dimensional stone right behind a sink and especially a range collects splashes, grease and dust in every crevice, and it's hard to wipe. The way I handle it for clients is to keep the wet zone smooth and the drama up high: run a smooth, sealed material (a slab of your countertop, large-format tile or a quartz backsplash) from the counter up 18 to 24 inches or to the bottom of the window, and bring the stone in above that and around the glass-front towers. You still get the look from across the room, the stone reads as architecture, and you can clean what you actually splash.

If you want stone all the way down, choose a flatter ledgestone or a cut, dry-stack style rather than rounded fieldstone, seal it well, and avoid it directly behind the cooktop. Also try the stone sample next to your cabinet stain and counter in the actual room; cappuccino maple plus a warm gray fieldstone can go muddy, so you may want a cooler, lighter stone or a lighter counter to keep the wall from feeling heavy. Beautiful plan overall.
