Wow… those are great photos! I particularly like the one with the red sky and the silhouette of the trees. Grey low key day here. No visiting the grandkids so the weekend always feels a little flat when I don’t go out and about. I like my latest sketchbook drawing…
Well, here it is peeps…Ollie, at the top of the stairs this morning….and Violet looking out the window. Chilly to have the window open, but I indulge her as soon it will get too cold to do that. And sharing two photos here, posted by my nephew who is travelling in the Alps with his family. His daughter is going to an art college in Italy! Cable car 😵💫 and morning light over the ridge. Mont Blanc area…The lucky duck! Thanks, Fiss…lots of shad here…didn’t think berries looked like this though. Maybe a variety?

I just posted this on Lia’s thread but I thought I’d put it over here. I’ve been letting the babies out for a few minutes a couple times a day. Out of their little apartment so they’ll get some exercise. I’m being followed LOL. Seems as though they never seem to be “not hungry” until after their bellies are tight and full. I have to stop them from eating too much or I’m afraid they will pop.
Not sure if I posted this yet but if you’ll notice, it is possible for me to unscrew a little jar with my feet! Trying to keep them separated has been tricky to say the least. When I open their apartment, they both jump out so fast and off of the bed. Luckily the rug is there on the floor but it doesn’t seem to phase them. If I pour the food into the plate before I set it down, the white one jumps up into it and spills everything. I wish the little one that’s still on the bottle would adapt to its plate but I keep trying and it’s just not time yet, I guess.

Just having a little fun with the decor for this room and adding some furniture. Ai has widen the room a tad and added a few features that don't exist, and it may not be the style that the op is wanting, but it's fun to think about what the room could be.
Not sure what your budget allows, so here’s an idea using some of your current items. You may not have room for all of it but gives you a vision for possibilities.
It looks a bit impersonal and sterile. Add wood tones to help warm up the space.
I like spring when the trees start to bud and they are an impossible bright green
And I like fall when the whole world seem ablaze in color

I like the colors and new life that Spring brings.
I think you need to think of quick storage ideas. Lidded boxes or baskets for the shelves that you can easily place desk top items in to tidy up quickly. Or consider having the book shelves modified with cabinet doors that can have items quicky put away behind. Or have a door added to the doorway opening that can be closed when you do not want to see the space.
Decoratively going off of the rug style I would color drench the space with the Navy blue. Float the desk facing the windows. place the game table and chairs at the windows and make it a moody masculine office space.

Depending upon how much the office is used, does OH care if he is looking out the window or facing a wall. Most would prefer a window view. Or, desk could be switched to face entry instead of wall.
But I will admit I never loved the “roughing it” kind of travel….🙄
The big cruises… that are out at sea for weeks never appealed to me…..having spent so many years living near the ocean…that was enough ocean views for me ….
