This scullery kitchen is located near the garage entrance to the home and the utility room. It is one of two kitchens in the home. The more formal entertaining kitchen is open to the formal living area. This kitchen provides an area for the bulk of the cooking and dish washing. It can also serve as a staging area for caterers when needed.

I love the mixture of the butcher block on the island and the counter on the walls being different materials. It would also have a nice nod the the natural shelves on the wall by the basement since the cabinets will need to be painted. Also like this backsplash option as Taylor is more of a rustic kind of fan. Only thing would want dark countertops on the exterior walls. Note we could potentially use the wood top off my grandmas desk for the island depending on dimensions. Would but want to cut a sink into that though.
