Use fencing to make it safe play area for toddlers on house patio.Saw one with small black wire fencing but never could find it again to save. You could check out fencing and use what you like.

This deck is obviously framed in metal, may e more dramatic for us to leave the metal natural, allow rust., the glass is great.

what your deck up to the bent metal angle at the curb will look like. Metal rail not bad either except for awful blue color.
