Asymmetrical balance is represented through all the pictures on the wall. They are are placed at different heights and don’t have the same picture frame, but it still works because there’s a cohesiveness in the color scheme and you can tell it was intentional.
Elizabeth Brown added this to Elements and Principles of Design Look Book
The pictures on the wall behind the bench have an asymmetrical balance that provokes a sense of modernism and movement. It also makes a room seem more casual.
