All white minimal kitchen with led colour

I'd had the idea of an all white kitchen for a while. I wanted white and lots of it. Everyone said no don't do it, at least get a contrasting worktop or splashback, but it was a no compromise concept and I just love how it worked out.

The room is an awkward small U shape to make squeezing things in difficult so some clever design and the use of the roller door tambour unit really pull it together. All the work was done by myself, with a starting point of a budget internet kitchen modified for the LED’s, extractor and tambour. The extractor is pivotal to the design by being totally concealed beneath the wall cabinet but still far enough from the induction hob.

The idea was white everything, glossy cabinets and floors, absolutely no stainless steel, clean uncluttered with no appliances on the counter tops. Lighting in three styles, task lighting for the countertops, ambient lighting for the room and mood lighting with the strips above, under and below. The strips are colour changeable in three zones via a mobile app.
