Removal of two door ways and opening up 80cm of wall allowed all living spaces to work together. The narrow kitchen benefitted from the removal of an ineffective pantry and the extension of both bench and cabinetry.

Replacing the old white carpet and vinyl tiles gives a cohesiveness to the now open space. The noisy and ineffective 1970s air conditioner was replaced with a more economical and a visually appealing option.
