Resourceful! It depends on what I think will suit the place and what I can get my hands on. Currently: fleamarket vintage meets mid-century in a Moroccan bazaar...
My next project: We currently live in Sydney but have big plans to up sticks to Andalucia, Spain at some point, to be closer to our English family. Our dream is to buy a 14th-century carmen (traditional Moorish house with an indoor courtyard) and bring it up to date with a look that marries the classic and contemporary. It'll be no small job! I'm really looking forward to exploring a more mediterranean way of styling, though I think I may be a touch more excited than my husband about the thought of traipsing through Spanish flea markets all day.
About me: Houzz Australia Contributor. I'm a freelance writer who is passionate about interiors, exteriors and pretty much anything in between. This becomes very interesting when furnishing somewhere with my two toddlers in the mix! They have taught me a lot about what you can do with limited space, time and/ or money.
