Renovation of 1920s ‘flat style’ house of local significance. Design strategy maintains integrity of existing fabric and the house’s history resulting in two distinctly contrasting buildings – modern and heritage landmark, which are linked via an internal landscaped courtyard. Material palette chosen marries old and new and is sensitive to the marine environment.
