The Arc House designed by Architect Maziar Behrooz of MB Architecture in New York and kitchen and bath designer William Roy of William Roy Designer Kitchen in Portland Oregon. The Arc House kitchen and bath have been featured in numerous online publication as well as in The Hampton's Cottage and Gardens magazine.
The clients retained William to help with the spacial design which was a challenge due to the location of the kitchen which was up against the arch that tapered to the floor. Upon completing the design I asked the client, "What does your architect think about what we've done?" The client replied, "I don't know, I haven't told him yet" with concern in his voice and then asked "Please send the architect a PDF of the final drawings and we will find out." I sent the plans at 8 pm PST 11 pm Eastern and received an email back at midnight from the Maziar in New York stating, "We need to talk tomorrow." I thought, Oh my, I hope he liked it. I slept lite, we spoke in the morning and he loved it, it went in as designed, it's spectacular.
