Assemblage house was conceived as a collection of elements arranged on the site to provide programmatic definition, visual privacy and solar and acoustic protection to family life. The pavilions are visually distinct in their appearance, yet complimentary as a whole composition.
The house is designed to be a robust and functional house for a family of 6 and their many friends and guests. The proximity to the beach and connectivity of the living spaces with the garden and pool mean that the house needs to be robust and easy to maintain.
