“We discovered that the planning code allowed us to go above 12 metres if we created an architectural feature and so we explored the idea of a pitched roof’, says Rob Mills. Enjoying the freedom to break away from traditional notions of penthouse space, which is normally only about increased floorplan and increased height, Bayside, plays with a vernacular form in the sky.
The space takes on a Scandinavian look which is further emphasised by the choice of furnishings and fabrics.
