Bayview House
Full renovation and extension to 1890’s Victorian in a heritage overlay. Concept was for single level living with flexible rooms to grow and change with a family.
Interiors were updated Victorian to flow cohesively into the more contemporary rear living extension. The use of colour in each of the bedrooms personalises each space. Wool loop carpets selected provide texture and sisal appearance while also been soft for children to play on. Whilst spotted gum hardwood unifies the home from the front of the door to the rear. Cleverly concealed split-systems provide relief in the few hot days each year but are otherwise out of sight. Rooms and layouts were considered for the use of furniture already owned.
