Beach Haven

Orienting the living areas and bedrooms to maximise views and natural light to the north west, all enjoying large windows to extend the vista externally. The outdoor living has been located to the north, attaining natural light and extended views whilst also being protected by the building from sea breezes. This house draws you to the entry via the flowing driveway and curved walls. The flowing forms continue inside with convex walls either side of a double storey entry bridged by the master suite walkway and double storey glass beyond. All rooms link back and flow through these convex walls. This master ensuite is expressively unique in its layout and design with each fixture affording exclusive water views through panoramic expanses of glass. The succinct placement of fixtures creates a luxurious and substantial space. Use of contemporary fittings and glossy finishes initiate a striking appearance. Glass has been incorporated into all facets of this design. Beginning with feature glass surrounding the front door, butt glazed curved and corner feature windows ending with a glass canopy over the master bed to view the night sky. Energy efficient ‘Comfortplus’ 19mm glass has been used to achieve this.
