This striking three-level home was constructed in South Beach, close to the inner harbour of the port city of Fremantle. With superb views to Rottnest, Carnac, and Garden islands, the home accommodates a young family of four with an innovative floor plan over three ingenious levels that add a sense of space and separation to family living.

The home is sited on a very compact 332m² block with a total width of just 11.8m. The site was transformed by the addition of a custom-designed executive residence with a total floor area of 537m² built over a concrete swimming pool! Not surprisingly, the project involved 34 pages of detailed design drawings to convey the remarkable attention to detail the construction of this home entailed.

Indeed, the home was cleverly designed to harmonise with its coastal location. Maximising the potential of the site meant designing a home to take advantage of its northerly aspect and harnessing the winter sun.
