Cuttriss Residence
After a year of living abroad with a young family, Jenny's one request was a renovation of their tired home. The Cuttriss' brief asked for a transitional style combining contemporary and industrial. The project involved major structural changes to convert the kitchen into an open-plan area (living room to be furnished in 2017, photos to come), which lets light into the dark living area, makes for a much more open space to keep an eye on the little ones as well as socialise with guests, allows for better flow and dramatically increases the value of the property. The bathroom was also extended and floor level raised to create nothing short of a heavenly retreat. The laundry was completely transformed and storage maximised, and includes handy "secrets" such as a pull-out ironing board and linen basket. To finish it all off, stunning timber-look porcelain tiles were laid throughout all areas, unifying all rooms and providing a smooth flow through the home. I could not be more proud of the finished result and I love the difference it made for the clients who were an absolute delight to work with!
