Darling Point Apartment, Sydney
This project was a redesign of kitchen space & associated joinery in a 1970’s built apartment complex at Darling Point positioned with direct harbour access & views.
The design brief started with Hollywood Regency & a look is inspired by the 1920’s also known as the Hollywood Opulent Feel.
A combination of bling & lavish glamour but not over the top It was to be classy with seamless lines & integrated appliances. It was to be designed to function for a Masterchef, who loves to entertain, which meant the oven & cooktop had to be of the wider sizes in a compact kitchen.
Stone & timber veneer are the only two material elements with no visible handles.
The outcome speaks for itself.
