Fentongove - My Place

This is my home and my canvas. We moved from Melbourne to Bendigo in 2011 to our new home 'Fentongove' built in 1865. We spent the first 6-12 months doing a lot of interior work (most of it ourselves) followed by a series of other projects. Working on our home is our hobby, and it has been wonderful to have had some time (having sold my design practice in Melbourne) to work for once on my own place rather than than everyone else's!!! I have also started a garden which is photographed as a separate project.

This is the front room of the house - I call this my 'girlie room' as its my study and its very much more feminine the the rest of the house. It is also the room that is least complete. It still needs a final paint, and carpet etc. Its all very close to be done though.
