A small but luxurious kitchen with stunning views over Sydney Harbour called for a beautiful French Provincial Kitchen to complete the renovation. Mirrors, Chandeliers, Corbels, Glass, Porcelain and Pewter with lots of interesting details come together to create a stylish and sophisticated, fully functional kitchen.



Design brief:

-To create a beautiful, functional galley kitchen in a narrow space

-To design in French Provincial style with chandelier for a touch of elegance

-Entire end wall to be covered with a mirror to create an illusion of extra space

-To make a service stall to be concealed within the cabinetry

-To include a butler sink, capping, moulded kickboards to complete a bespoke look



How functionality was met:

-Despite very limited space, this kitchen boasts a steam oven, pyrolytic oven, integrated fridge/freezer, integrated full dishwasher, wine cooler, microwave oven, induction cooktop and concealed rangehood

-Thirteen soft close drawers.

-Pull Out storage for oven racks and baking trays

-Pull Out storage for oils, vinegars and sauces

-Pull Out pantry

-Small Benchtop cabinet near sink for soaps and detergents

-Storage cabinet for chopping boards, trays and tea towel rails

-Floor to ceiling cabinetry meant that the rangehood could not be ducted through a bulkhead, so the solution was to duct the rangehood through a discreet vent in the ceiling
