Created for a husband and wife couple and their teenage children living in a very large residence in Ashton in the Adelaide Hills. The husband had been a former client involved in both the beer and wine industries and he and his wife enjoyed entertaining and hospitality in general. The sculpture is 1500mm wide x 750mm deep and faces back over the kitchen and into the large dining area. All the elements featured are hand made glass and silicon sealed to the surface of the Dibond metal sculpture surface, while the man and the speech balloon are slumped glass. The quote by Virginia Wolff is hand painted calligraphy and baked to seal permanently.
