We were so excited when this project came across our desks, both due to the size of the apartment and also the brief given by the client. The client has multiple homes overseas and so wanted this one to uniquely reference the Gold Coast.
Naturally we were drawn to a lighter neutral colour palate to further accentuate the amazing light we have here. Multiple textures were also imperative to reference the coastal location, along with highlights of blue to add colour.
There are 3 living areas which each have their own character. The casual living beside the kitchen which is where athe day to day comings and goings happen. There is then the large formal living where oversized sofas, occasional chairs and symmetry are used. And finally, the media room which features an amazing textured palm leaf wallpaper which not only adds ambience but also has great acoustic qualities
