The Howitt street project was initiated by local builders who
approached us with the brief to design a new house for one of their
friends who required a family home with wheelchair accessibility.

The design approach taken was to work with two “boxes” clad in
contrasting materials and bisected by a courtyard and fully glazed
dining area that took full advantage of the northern aspect of the site.

With a focus on creating a Platinum standard home in accordance
with the Livable Design Guidelines and with consideration of the
NDIS, the result is a light, spacious dwelling that is tailored to suit the
family’s lifestyle.
