Kensington Kitchen Renovation

The brief was for a fresh, light-filled kitchen that gave them more storage options, and better utilisation of the space available. While a scullery/butler's pantry was on the wish list, there simply was no extra space available, so the solution was a delightful little utility nook that houses much of her baking, coffee and breakfast needs in an attractive dedicated space.

A key feature of this kitchen is the new electronic glass window. It turns from transparent to opaque with the simple flick of a switch. A modern solution to replace the old glass brick window so that light is always allowed through, but privacy to the exterior space is maintained when required.

All the existing base cabinets in the U were retained and updated with new door and drawer fronts; a great cost saving as the layout already worked.
