Langwarrin South

This project was designed by LimeTree Alfresco, in close collaboration with our clients Scott & Tara along with builder Ben Logan. The brief was to complete their outdoor space and connect their internal kitchen to the outdoors. This was achieved by installing a new timber servery window along the expansive Corian benchtop.

The new outdoor kitchen includes a Ziegler & Brown Grand Turbo barbecue with an alfresco rangehood, which ensures no grease or smoke will upset the environment. The rangehood cladding features a matching material to the cabinetry doors for a cohesive finish. Two fridges were also installed so the clients will never be short of a cold beverage! One facing each way into the two adjoining spaces. The outdoor kitchen completes the large outdoor living space and allows the clients to entertain outdoors as well as indoors all year round.

The internal box-gutter system on the roof of the outdoor area and an old hot water service connected to the wall posed a unique challenge to the team. The solution was to build a false wall and clad the surround with a matching aluminium composite panel to that of the cabinetry to ensure the rangehood would look aesthetically pleasing.
