The now open plan layout allows more natural light to flow into the space and the new doors and canteen style window provides a great flow between outdoor and indoor entertaining.

The owners were after a modern, industrial aesthetic. Working with the existing dark flooring a strong black and white contrast with industrial pops coming through in the concrete look benchtops and concrete look feature paint.

The overhead shelving is also a strong industrial element which has been softened with styled planting and vj ceiling lining.

The detailing of the existing doors was replicated, and a mosaic tile feature floor added to blend the existing older style home with the modern architectural details.

With a large amount of space dedicated to wine storage, the net result is a home built for hospitality and great parties.
