Modular Housing - EMERALD HOUSE
A PROTOTYPE FOR STYLISH, AFFORDABLE FACTORY BUILT HOMES
The Elm was the first house to be built from the Lightwave designed range back in 2008 as a display home for the Emerald Agricultural Show, where it received positive response from visitors.
It was an early demonstration to show the size and quality of space that can be achieved in modular or relocatable housing.
The architectural detailing was of a high standard with all elements carefully crafted to achieve a quality but affordable finish.
The design of the housing range was established in such away to allow for flexible arrangements on different sites with varying orientations. No matter what the orientation, cross ventilation in the design provides for cooling breezes.
This particular house was purchased by an investor in Moranbah and the house was shifted from Emerald to Moranbah to provide a quick solution for rental housing in the mining industry.
