This recently constructed Duplex located on the beach side of Mt Coolum was designed with the challenge of dealing with a full height party wall separating the Duplex units. Through the implementation of a central Atrium with Courtyard, DCM was able to provide natural light & ventilation along with a feature courtyard to the centre of the GF living space. This also created an opportunity to introduce a roof top terrace to capitalize on the views to Mt Coolum and beach side views adjacent to the property. A mirrored planning design also provided the client with a cost effective building solution which came in under budget.
