An unusable space was redesigned to give the kids an area to play and the adults a space to sit and enjoy an Australian native garden. We built two sandstone retaining walls and steps to create a flat lawn area. Plantings include Australian natives, grasses, ferns, succulents and an irrigation system for low maintenance. The lower retaining wall was repointed.
Old timber steps leading down to the garden from the driveway were removed and replaced with merbau balustrade.
