Sandy Bay Residence
This heritage-listed residence was completed in early 2014.
Previous additions and renovation work have been removed from the property and a new addition and interior renovation has been completed.
Because of the heritage listing, the building's existing walls, chimney, stairs and original roofline have been maintained. A new and contrasting modern two-story addition is to located in a setback position at the rear. The addition connects via a glass link through the roofline on the first floor level and open up to the northerly aspect of the backyard on the ground level. All internal spaces were stripped back and refurbished.
Natural timber wall cladding further differentiates the new work from the rendered heritage facade of the original residence.
