Our client requested that we create a garden with a contemporary Japanese aesthetic that allowed for a number of unique sitting and outdoor living spaces throughout, as well a modern water feature to provide a tranquil point of contemplation.
The front garden consists of a sunken entertainment area which allows privacy from onlookers but still allows glimpses of the ocean.
The rear garden contains a cedar lined outdoor living area with seeded concrete flooring and suitable for outdoor dining..
The rear garden contains a water feature which has a colourfully tiled aquaponics filtration system allowing the Koi to feed and nourish the bamboo and rushes and for them in turn to cleanse the water naturally.
It also contains a grassed area to allow a space for play for the clients two dogs as well as a raised garden bed containing citrus trees.
