Stahle House
The Stahle house was originally designed by Ross Stahle as his family home. He was Director of the noted practice of Mockridge Stahle Mitchell. Formed in 1948, they have undertaken many memorable educational and religious building in Melbourne and Canberra.
In 2011 Hatzellis purchased the house and renovated the wet areas, gardens and the alfresco zone. The key to the renovation of this family home was the insertion of new elements that were sympathetic to the Japanesque Modernist style of the original.
