Inspired by a recent stay at the Ace Hotel in Sydney and the design genius of Flack Studio, our client envisioned a bathroom retreat that would evoke the feeling of a continuous holiday. The challenge was to maximise a compact space while creating a sense of openness. Key elements included an under-mount basin for a clean aesthetic, wall taps for modern appeal, and smart lighting that automatically adjusts to enhance mood and functionality. Verde Antigua marble-look porcelain tiles, paired with handmade white gloss tiles, created a striking visual while maintaining a sense of spaciousness. Subtle green accents on the ceiling and door, along with shadow gunmetal tapware, harmonised the design. The switch to a cavity slider door and frameless shower screen contributed to the spacious feel, resulting in a luxurious, easy-to-maintain space that beautifully balances form and function.
