McLachlan Homes have breathed new life into the once stale and substandard designs available for the more challenging block. With the demand for fresh and innovative sloping block designs on the increase, our design team launched two new designs to meet the increase within this market.
The Zahara breaks away from other split level designs that aim to be ‘normal’, our vision is to embrace the extraordinary and delivering a design offering a stunning home that is shaped around the site.
The cubic façade projects a look that is very contemporary and stands out beautifully from its surroundings. Even so, its sleek lines and subtle blend of complementary colours and drama of its extended Entry, renders the overall look of the home rather beautiful than being an eyesore. The Zahara is unlike regular home designs, in fact unlike most split-level homes but is a true example of what can be achieved.
This intelligent design features a magnificent home with something a little extra, sharing a home space under the main roof of the house with relatives can be a bit too close for comfort. Our design team have come up with a solution to meet our clients’ needs. In short, this design features its own standalone self-contained Apartment. With separate Entry, the space is packed with features on the lower level; including a generous Bedroom with built in Robe, Patio with privacy screen, powder room, Linen storage and a large Mudroom with all the luxuries of a private Ensuite and more. This lower level of the apartment even includes a private courtyard and timber stained internal staircase leading up to the Wet Bar, Rumpus and Balcony.
