Tiled Outdoor Entertaining Area

This great looking covered deck uses Bluestone tiles on the fireplace, Timber look porcelain tiles on the floor and Moroccan inspired tiles on the feature wall.

A great family space out on the back deck using Timber look floor tiles Bluestone tiles on the fireplace and Moroccan style tiles on the feature wall.

The perfect place to gather on any afternoon. It's surprising just how often you can be persuaded that there is a bit of a nip in the air. The Fireplace is tiled in Bluestone Tiles. Very hardwearing and can withstand the heat. Feature wall tiles are Moroccan style and give the space a visual punch....

A close up of the fire nook for a better look at the Moroccan style feature tiles. They are grouted in dark grey grout by Mapei. The same grout is also used on the Bluestone tiles on the seat and fireplace. The use of dark grout keeps the grout joint in the background

The other fireplace nook for lounging on in the afternoon to catch the last of the sun. The Mapei grout used can be used in large and small grout gaps to help make a seamless joint between the Bluestone fireplace tiles and the Moroccan tiles used on the feature wall

A Bull nose tile has been used on the edging of the seat to make a soft edge for people when they sit. All tiles are matt finished to stop the glare of the afternoon sun reflecting in peoples eyes.

The timber look floor tiles can withstand a lot of heavy duty wear and tear. Embers from the fireplace don't stand a chance of smouldering and leaving scorch marks on either the bluestone hearth or the timber floor tiles.

The dark colour of the bluestone hides the smoke marks that happen in all outdoor fireplaces that I've seen. The recycled or worn in look of the timber look floor tiles also gives the space a no fuss relaxed feel.

A good image to showcase the finish you can achieve using Tiles in your outdoor areas. The Timber look floor tiles get hit by the noon and afternoon sun in some spots and are never any hotter than the timber that used to be there.
